Thank you so very much for your kindness. Thank you for making Sandy feel comfortable and welcome. I pray God blesses you as much as you have blessed our family. Annette.

LeeAnn, you were wonderful to me and for me while I was "hairless" I'm so grateful to have had your help. Fondly, Evelyn

I very much appreciate what you do to have provided me with my hair needs. We are all glad to hear that your business is doing well and we all agree that you are perfect for the job. God Bless You, Martha

LeeAnn, I just want you to know how much I appreciated your help and "up beat" conversation. My daughters thought you were great! I never thought I would in my life time have to purchase a wig, but then I never thought I would have cancer either. Anyway, you're a joy to be around and can't imagine anyone ever being unhappy with the service you provide. Keep up the good work! Darlene

LeeAnn, Hi! I just wanted to thank you again for helping me out with my wig. I never realized I would be so excited about getting a wig! It makes the experience of loosing my hair not so bad. These last couple of months have been really hard for me but to know that God let me meet such kind people, like yourself, makes the Journey well worth it. Thanks again for everything. Joanne

LeeAnn, Thank you so much for all the thought you put in to me, and the way I need to look to feel great! When ever I express a feeling or emotion to you, you run with it and make it a reality! Thank you and my wants are always a reality with LeeAnn. Sarah

LeeAnn, Thank you so much for your help. I have really enjoyed doing business with you. You are some professional wig lady! Sincerely, Libby

LeeAnn, My mother and I were at your place a couple of weeks ago. She was losing her hair after Chemo treatments I want to thank you for making a very emotional day easier. Your caring attitude and the fact we could get a beautiful, natural looking wig the same day, made the experience a lot easier. I wish you and yours all the best. Thanks! Kathy

Dear LeeAnn, I want to congratulate you on your award "Sharing Your Spirit". I experience first hand what it means to these women to have hats and hair again! It is a wonderful thing you do for so many people. We are so blessed to have you support Victory in the Valley in the great way you do. I just wanted to say congratulations! God Bless, Susie

Dear LeeAnn, Thanks very much for your help! I will never forget you. Would recommend you to anyone who needs help. Take care gal, and I will be back! You changed my life. Very Sincerely, Vickie

LeeAnn, Just had to send you a quick note to let you know what a fabulous job you did with my "new do". I ran into someone over Thanksgiving from out of state who of course does not know about the cancer. She went on and on about how great my new haircut was! Thanks for the great new look! Cindy

The first time I went to see LeeAnn I was nervous, scared and most of all embarrassed. But all of that lasted about 10 seconds. She was friendly and very knowledgeable. Not only did she put me at ease, but the way she has her shop set up made the experience a 1000 times easier. Its very private and you don't have to worry about somebody walking in on you. Those are just a few of the many reasons why I keep coming to see LeeAnn for hair replacement for almost four years now. Sarah A.

Victory in the Valley, Inc. is a non-profit cancer support organization that is dedicated to meeting the needs of cancer patients/survivors and their families through our many support programs and services. One of our services includes a Wig Loft where women with cancer can receive a free gently used wig, or other supplies. In providing this service, we first came in contact with LeeAnn Callahan, also known as "The Wig Lady".
There are a few people that we meet in life who are absolutely incredible, and LeeAnn is definitely one of those people. She continually goes out of her way to accommodate the needs of cancer patients, including making personal visits to the hospital to help children and adults who are in need of a wig, but are not able to come to her store. It has been our experience that LeeAnn will do anything that is within her power to make sure no cancer patient has to go through their cancer journey alone.
LeeAnn is truly a miracle worker. She is dedicated, honest and eager to serve others with her caring spirit, her kind heart and her professional knowledge and experience as a hair stylist. It has been our pleasure to know her and work with her for many years, and we are confident that everything she does is of the highest quality and is done with great compassion and care. We are honored to work with her to meet the needs of cancer patients. Sincerely,
Diana Thomi, RN, BS

LeeAnn Callahan has been my Hair Stylist and very best friend for the past twelve years. I was diagnosed with Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma in May of 2000. Started chemotherapy immediately and was told I would lose my hair in approximately two weeks. I was horrified. Being a pretty vain person I didn't know what I was going to do. LeeAnn insisted on going with me to find a wig. We went to several places, but no one had much of a selection. Some places wanted a deposit to try on a wig. We finally found wigs in the back of a children's clothing store. With LeeAnn's expertise we found one that would match the color of my hair (being mostly gray with black streaks). The Wig was ordered out of Kansas City and LeeAnn received it in several days. LeeAnn shaved my head and styled the wig. It looked great. She then became the Wig Lady (Thank God).
I can't say enough how great it is to have a place to go that is private and to have such a selection to choose from. I had a recurrence of my Lymphoma in May of 2004. It was such a relief to know I had a place to go and have a great selection to choose from. This time she had the perfect wig for me. I had so many compliments on my hair. When I told people it was a wig, they couldn't believe it. During the summer last year I had to spend some time in the Hospital. I wore the wig and the nurses thought it was my real hair. Needless to say I am so thankful for The Wig Lady. It is such a comfort in trying times to know you can go somewhere to choose a wig where there's such a selection and that it's private place with no one looking on. Kay S.

I have known and worked with LeeAnn Callahan both on a business and personal level for many years, LeeAnn is not only professional and compassionate about her work,  but also, about the people she works with,  she will always come highly recommended by me.

Dear Wig Lady, I just wanted to drop you a line to say thanks. When my wife, Janice, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, it turned our family's world upside down. Obviously with four daughters, a lot of things go through your mind, about what your future holds. And there are so many issues that come up that you really don't anticipate, until you are faced with them. And one of those was the reality, which Janice's gynecological oncologist pointed out to us in consultation, that she would lose her hair within several rounds of chemo. When asked what to do, he recommended going to the "The Wig Lady". So we asked him what the name of your business was and he said, "I just told you.", which made us laugh at the time, thinking…duh…hello? So we took one of your cards, and as you well know, Janice came in to see you.
And she did that as quickly as possible because she wanted you to see how she looked when she was "normal". After the initial consultation, she had to come back later to pick up her new wig. The amazing thing was that when she walked through our front door, upon her return from your shop, with her hands empty, I said, "Honey, I thought you went to pick up your new wig." And she said, "I did. I'm wearing it now." She said you had suggested to shave her head right then and there and don't go through the stress of watching it fall out in the shower. So she did, and it was absolutely the right thing to do, emotionally.
I can't begin to tell you how fabulous she looks. You absolutely nailed her very stylish and perfectly colored, "short hair style" in that wig. With all the fear and anxiety that cancer brings to the table, at least, you made a huge difference in her life by removing one major issue about her appearance in public. And in the past couple of weeks, all of Janice's lady friends have asked her when she was going to get her wig. They too have been surprised and are astonished at how fantastic it looks. Besides that, Janice told me that you were the kindest and most compassionate person she has ever encountered in a business setting, and that her time in your shop was an absolute delight in the way you made her feel so comfortable and at ease. She said you were very funny and treated her as if it were just another day, without cancer. She also appreciated the privacy of your consultation/fitting room, which I understand has a huge selection to pick from and experiment with, for the right look.
So, as a husband, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. What you are doing goes far beyond retailing. Take comfort in the thought that you are making a huge difference in the lives that you touch. We are so glad we found you. Mike and Janice

The Wig Lady! I just cannot say enough about LeeAnn. It was nine years ago when I befriended LeeAnn. My hair was extremely thin. I was at a birthday party, my own when my uncle popped off with a crack about how thin my hair was and that my bald spot was blinding him I decided I had, had enough. The next week I went to a wig shop and told the owner that I wanted to shave my head and glue a wig to my head. He thought that was a bit extreme so he referred me down the street to "The Wig Lady." I felt comfortable with her instantly. I started first with synthetic wigs but was looking for some more permanent. I told LeeAnn that I trusted her and that she could do anything to my head or hair I really did not have anything to lose. We shaved me completely bald and bonded a hair piece to my head. Over time I have went back and forth from bonded to clip in pieces. The money for a younger person such as myself was a bit scary for me at first but when I averaged out the amount of money I saved going to a regular hairdresser and being disappointed it was well worth the money I spent in the long run. Not to mention the most important part the level of confidence I have felt over the years. I am a social worker and do many public speaking venues and I no longer had the worry of the bald spot blinding anyone. LeeAnn is a professional who is 100% all about customer service. I just cannot say enough about her. Michelle Goldston

A diagnosis of breast cancer is a very traumatic experience and losing your hair is difficult because it is a reminder that you are very sick and that this is very real. LeeAnn Callahan, The Wig Lady, made the process much easier for me by offering a wide variety of high quality wigs. She was patient and compassionate and more of a counselor than a "wig lady". I have recommended her to many of my friends and family who are going through similar experiences and everyone has enjoyed working with LeeAnn. Thank you LeAnn for your friendship and professionalism. Rhonda Blasi

In February, 2004, I had ovarian cancer and after surgery, started chemotherapy. On a Sunday morning I woke up to find hair on my pillow, in my mouth and all over the bed.
A friend came over and we called Leann, she met us at her shop. A few other close friends joined us and Leann shaved all my hair off. We all tried on hats and wigs, Leann made it a very happy-fun day.
In 2009 I had a brain tumor, no chemo, but the surgeon was not a cosmetologist, so Leann again made my hair look presentable, and helped me with my wigs from 2004, and I got a new one. In April, 2010 we went thru this again, and Leann was there for me.
She is a God given angel to cancer patients. Anita Erickson
